Bernardo Recamán Santos
I am a Colombian, British trained (University of Warwick) mathematician. I have taught (and still teach) students of all ages, from preschool to university. My main interests are in number theory and graph theory, and where the two meet.
I was the accidental discoverer of Recamán's Sequence (pictured in the background), so named by Neil Sloane of oeis.org fame. Brought up reading Martin Gardner, I am a great believer in the power of recreational mathematics to liven up our teaching.
I am the author of The Bogotá Puzzles, Dover, 2020.
Freddy Barrera González
I am an amateur recreational mathematician and self taught programmer and web developer. For many years I have fruitfully collaborated with Bernardo devising, solving, improving, and sharing mathematical puzzles and games, besides helping him navigate 21st century technological advances, in which he remains hopelessly lost.
